Samsung's Galaxy J1, which was announced back in January this year, is now available for purchase in the Philippines. The device is priced at 5,490 Philippine pesos, or around $123.
The affordable handset is already available in India and Malaysia, and just a couple of weeks ago, it landed in Europe, where the Netherlands and Germany became the first markets to get the smartphone.
The Galaxy J1 is powered by a Spreadtrum chipset with a dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Mali-400 GPU, and sports a 4.3" WVGA display. It comes with 512 MB RAM and 4GB expandable storage.
