You know how the Samsung Galaxy Note7, announced yesterday, isn't supposed to be available for purchase until August 19 in the US and September 2 in Europe? Well, not so in Dubai, where one customer has already gotten his hands on one - a proper retail unit.
Now, we have seen the Note7, obviously, and shared a few early impressions in our brief hands-on. Still, the first unboxing of a production Note7 unit (to the best of knowledge, that is) is well worth our attention.
Courtesy of our reader Victor, who happened to be in the right place at the right time, the 3-minute video touches upon the key points of the Samsung phablet, including water resistance, S Pen, iris scanner, as well as the package contents (it's an unboxing after all).
Oh, by the way, the Note7 (dual-SIM variant too), cost him AED 2,999 ($815), with a 128GB microSD card thrown in as a gift.
Thanks for the tip and video, Vic The Chick!
