I bought my A10 last week, from malaysia telco phone package. the phone Design is stylish enough.
glad that my phone does not have proximity problem. just some times lagging.
overall i very satisfied with it.

It is available in India @ 17000 bucks. But I think Dell XCD35 is a better deal.

The firmware update is out. Will solve some the problems mentioned here.
For those looking for the 'standby' button, it's the power button. Press once and release.
Screen blackout during call, it's the proximity sensor. Screen will come on when phone is away from your face.
GPS screen dimming, to conserve battery. Backlight will come on when there is a turn to be made.
For the Malaysian market, there's no better phone for the money. Navigation accuracy is excellent.
For those struggling with the manual, can consider a not-so-smartphone.

Is Arabic Language selection available on this phone ? and on keyboard also?

Used for 6 months.
Navigation doesnot works properly when driving from sydney to melbourne.Map screen goes blank,but speaks route instructions.
Some times Screen goes blank,no screen to disconnect call!
Poor call reception indoors,shows full signal strength outdoors and none indoors.

I have problem during call out. The screen gone blank as soon as I press the call buttom. Since I can't view anything, I can't press on "End of call" button leaving my call still on eventhough the other party already hang up.
Is there anyone who can help me on this?

STEFANO ZENA IT, 20 Dec 2010on my asus a 10 , the problem is the stand by ....to get it i tried to push the button "w... moreIf you installed the new firmware on the phone when Garmin-Asus updated it a few months ago then that would explain not being able to press the centre on-screen button to answer a call - if that is what you are talking about.
They are currently working on a new firmware upgrade to fix a lot of the problems (so they said when i spoke to them early December.

on my asus a 10 , the problem is the stand by ....to get it i tried to push the button "widget " this to avod sending wrong calls or other unwanted ...if i swithc off the phone (with the block sequence safety ) when i receive a call i can t reply ....the phone rings , but the button reply can t be pushed on screen ...i really dont understand that !!!! for the camera i m sad that no flash is included ( on my samsung it was included ) . it could be useful for photos !!!

i got the phone , bad problems to read manual ...the site say " file not found" , so i dont know how to put phone on "stand-by" status , also problem to make the alarm work when phone is closed ....!!! why they don t make a book with instructions ??? also registering is so complicate bu usb connection !!! it takes a lot of time ....without no message !!!! bohhhhhh

i was about to buy this asus.Can anyone tell me how is the screen pixel? As i know,iphone comes with retina where it's very clear like HD.How bout a10? is it clear enough?thanks
