Get used to it - Samsung Galaxy S20 is Samsung's next flagship

Samsung Rumors

You've heard this before - Samsung has chosen the S20 as the name of its next Galaxy S flagship, instead of the logical S11. The information originally came from reputable tipster @Iceuniverse and he's now reconfirmed his statement.

The renaming makes some sense. 2020 marks the beginning of a new decade and Samsung has concluded the old one with 10 annual Galaxy S flagships. Making the next one the Galaxy S20 will differentiate it, especially when put side by side with the Galaxy S10.

Yes🙂

By all accounts Samsung is bringing out its best in the Galaxy S20 series. It will feature no less than three devices but likely four - Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20e and Galaxy S20 5G. They will use an Exynos 990 in some markets and a Snapdragon 865 in the majority of markets, they'll have bigger batteries than their predecessors (the Galaxy S20+ is said to have a 5,000mAh unit) and will be made official on February 11, and go on sale on February 18.

The Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ are expected to have a quad-camera setup highlighted by a 108MP main sensor that delivers 12MP photos from a 9-in-1 binning method, high-megapixel telephoto cameras (no less than 48MP) with up to 5x optical zoom, and naturally an ultrawide snapper. Not least, Samsung will make the direct jump to 120Hz refresh rate with the Galaxy S20.

There's still well over a month to go before Samsung unveils its next best phones, in which time we expect to see a lot more leaks hit the surface. Do stay tuned!

Apple should just call their iPhones like this, iPhone SE (2020) iPhone (2020) iPhone Pro (2020) iPhone Pro Max (2020) Use the naming convention they already have with their iPads, iMac & Macbooks etc.
