Gionee Elife E7 - user opinions and reviews

My basic need is full clarity and high resolution display with extreme pixel quality. This E7 satisfied all my needs. That's why I bought 2 mobiles. One is for my Dad and the other is for myself. Now the only problem is how to make video call using 3G network. Could you give any help on this?

DTS is not working for videos or speaker then what is point of DTS availability. Full volume in speaker is cranky. Sometimes phone keeps restarting without any issues. It automatically selects options even thought I am not touching the options. Phone heats when recording full HD videos. Wifi gets cut when screen locks automatically.GPS is slow to update location and have missed turns due to slow updation. Image stabilizing software is very bad and Optical Image Stabilization hardware is very much compulsory for made for shooting E7. Battery is not sufficient for whole day. Smart answer is not working. Amigo UI is very very bad, I am using Nova launcher. There is no dual speaker at base of phone, only one speaker with 2 vents. Close one speaker vent while playing music and then try with other and you will hear the difference. Too much noise in pictures when flash is used. I cannot see anything under sunlight even at full brightness. No OTA for kitkat till now. My friend has E6 which was bought before me and that also does not have kitkat. They are just giving wallpaper and theme update but not kitkat. I should have gone for nexus 5 which also has 4G whereas this 32gb version does not have 4G.

If you are going to pay 28k then better go for devices like Samsung S4 for ex(I am not a Samsung Fan though,but they do pack in some punch).S4 is selling at 28k and has a host of better features like Air View,Dual shots,Smart Scroll,Air gestures with hardware additions to infrared (IR) blaster & GLONASS.Gionee's made for shooting lacks a few things for ex-burst shots are low resolution shots compared to normal shots whereas S4 takes same high resolution shots both normally and in burst mode.Though Gionee takes care of pictures to a certain extent the video aspect is a huge huge letdown with such a awesome lens and processor.The software just couldn’t deliver.E7's rear camera CANNOT record videos in 60fps in 720p or 120fps in 720p or even 60fps in 1080p or 2k or 4k videos.The front camera also CANNOT record 1080p videos at 30fps,it can only record 720p videos at 30fps.Other mobiles with the same processor can do the above.

I bought Gionee E7 in feb and then it was fine,but now the battery is heating near camera and is not coming for full day.Charge is over by evening only with 2 hours of call.1 hour of 2G internet for whatsapp and facebook,1 hour game.

after... moreman u should definitely go for moto x.in short moxo x is a nexus 5 for 24 k.bt it is better than canvas knight,elife e7 and nexus 5. the camera is the best.u will get kitkat and a guaranteed update.a lot of flipcover to choose from and d revolutionary GOOGLE NOW ofcourse

Bought this phone yesterday at 26500, it's a powerhouse, been using note 2 before which is piece of crape before it, for all game maniac it's heaven, I am able to play all my games on ultra, this phone is Alienware of mobiles

Gionee E7 is awesomme. But the issue is battery life.. and gets really hot at times.

Roshan, 14 May 2014when will elife e7 get kitkat 4.4 updateVery good phone..i bought this e7 in February 20 this year. No complaint at all. I have bought 20 phones & this is the best so far. Gionee e8 will come with kitkat 4.4....

i'm using gionee e 7 from 2 weeks . the cell is awesome . but i'm facing lot of music related problems. while travelling in bus i get cracks while playing the music have checked with other headset too but the same output n moreover i have never got such issue in any other cell phone. please reply.

after reading bad reviews of canvas knight its discarded from my list so now there are 2 options.
one of my friend is using moto X so i know it is a very nice ph. but i am not aware og the brand "gionee".
some people told me that it is not a good brand. so i want to know whether fionee is good or not. coz i am going to spend 25k so i have to think twice before buying it. please give me suggestions..
all kind of suggestions are accepted.. please help me friends
