after the kitkat update i am facing issue with MQ mobile security app... its jst crashing and pop up coming on home page..and i am unable to remove that pop up... can someone tell me how to fix it

AnonD-279851, 03 Jul 2014I had the same issue after importing from a backup... i could delet everything and still there... moreI updated to kitkat. It's like charming..battery heating up issue is completly wiped off.I didn't face any issue as of now regards any application. It was a successful update...great job by gionee,rolling such update.

ashishhtc, 03 Jul 2014My message icon is showing unread messages but I have deleted all messages still it's showing ... moreI had the same issue after importing from a backup... i could delet everything and still there was one unread on the logo... i could only remove it by flashing the device back to 2.0.0 and update again.

Yea your're right... it's getting pretty hot from time to time... when i use it for navigation for example... and yes my S5.5 also got bend a bit... you can bend it back^^ =P but i was also suprised that this can happen... it did not fall... it was just in my pocket... should not happen. Probably too slim for being as solid as we're used to. I'm also thinking about selling the phone but i'm not sure if i can do that with those crashing problems once a day=/ that's why i hope it's software problem...

Purchased on may 21st..its a gd phone no doubt.. Its fast .. Hanging problem ws nt dere.. Bt point to consider is d battery problem.. 1 Batery lyf is not gd
2 heating problem is dere. D set got hot frm upper portion bcoz of d sleekness and octa core processor.. 3 one major major problem dat i faced is ma set ma handpiece got twist.. I mean it got a bend frm backside and it startd lookin poor.. D reason wa i kept it in ma pocket and it got a bent... Cant believ dat...nw aftr one month i sold it... Seriou point to consider

I've the S5.5 since release. It's a great phone only the software had/has some problems... Performance got improved massivly till 2.0.8. The Kitkat update is not available to me yet:(. The Ami weather app still dose not work in europe... all chinese... and still there's only EN/CH. The build quality is superb. It looks and feels great. The camera is stunning and the ledflash is good too. The battery lasts for 1-2 days for me... depending on usage. GPS had massive problems on Amigo 2.0.0 but since 2.0.5 it works pretty well.
But now 2 questions... because i've a problem with the phone since 2 weeks.
1. My S5.5 crashes at least once a day... no specific app... even with no app started... anywhere at any time. Can happen by just unlocking the screen or while surfing the web. The crash happens fast... so no regular shutting down... just blackout as if you would remove the battery. I can make this happen by pushing volume down plus power schort and fast several times... sometimes the phone restarts by just pushing power... sometimes i need to plug in the power cable. Dose anyone else have this problem? I hope it's software but i think it's hardware :(
2. Anyone in germany already updated to Kitkat? Dose it now offer more languages? Weather app working? It's not available for me yet. I hope Kitkat can solve my crashing problem. If not i've to use the warranty of liaow.com but the package sending to china and back is not cheap :/
