3rd class phone. battery takes a long time to charge. but it discharge very fast. battery gets hot. wastage of money. lost 5000 bucks in a day after purchasing it. battery not stands for even half day.

what a wastage of money. After purchasing it i sold it the 2nd day. battery too hot & takes a long time to charge but small time in discharge. i dont know how it passed quality tests. please please dont buy this bull shit. i lost 5000 bucks in a single day

Its very bad phone battery issue,battery gets heat after 10 to min 15 while playing game and screen having issue application get hanged waste phone

I got this phone few days ago ,when i talk few mints it got very warm. Bed at all ,my galaxy s4 much good ,samsung ur the best

can not do voice calling for more than 5min.
its that... moreankur amoled screens are very different in comparson to IPS panels now days most mobiles has OGS(one glass solution) so everything is sticking together at front so what is happening in this phone is that heat is getting conducted both in front n back...now here the PCB board used is also the worlds slimmest...
what i can say is that the heat is not insulated anywhere...
but for me it only heats up while playing games nothing else and pls do enable cpu power saving mode in battery section that helped a lot.
I am eagerly waiting for kitkat which is due this month as it will resolve most of problem.

U people should use nexus 5 for a day and u wl know what poor battery life means and about heating i hv seen this phone go to maximum of 65 degrees and that was too while playing asphalt 8 and on other hand nexus 5 goes upto 80 degrees while playing asphalt 8.
and this can be checked by using cpu temperature app from play store.
Panasonic P81 has a 720P screen and thats the reason it dosent get hot because now the same processor has to work on only half the pixels compared 1080p and that reduces a huge amount of load.

Majority people has issues with battery and heating.The mobile is beautiful but there r issues which the company needs to resolve.Half heartily I gave my S5.5 and got Panasonic 81.P81 has same hardware except the ram which is 1 gb.The battery last much longer and no heating like as in s5.5.

battery is really bad other wise fon is one of the best fon till 30000 k range .plz so smthing about battery .. there is no use of fon witbout battery

Doesn't seem that they actually used t... moreMost of the users r facing heating and battery issue.I gave away the cell and bought panasonic P81.Its great with same chipset but only 1 gb ram.But vey less heating and tht too while playing jravy games.

Been using since a while and happy with not only build but battery fares much better over my Nexus 4. Always 3+ hrs screen on time

Rajendra, 12 Jun 2014Please be careful before buying this phone. It is very fragile & battery backup is very ba... morebuddy Gorilla glass is made to take the impact of accidental drop.Normal drop will not break the glass unless and until it's hard drop that no glass can take.

Battery quality is very BAD.
Excessive heat. Could not hold the phone after some time.
Lot of bugs in the software. For eg: Instead of Chennai it is showing Chennad.

It takes me at immense surprise that Gionee ignored very important basic things such as excessive heat with gaming and very low battery life which could severely impact their sales. Gionee should perform aggressive testing from end-user perspective before releasing any of their products to the market. If they have a plan to become one of the top players in the market, I don't think it can be realized with these very basic issues.

and pls select the "cpu power saving mode" in battery section of settings this will bump up the battery life n reduce heating without ny noticeable performance difference
