customer care people are saying that kitkat will improve battery backup as well as reduce heating.

I also say samsung is the worst mobile but samsung is better t... moreI have personally tested this phone in many markets it was Ok but not too good highlight is camera and octacore..
But battery is terrible also no kitkat to make it fast..
Heats up too much..
My friends who use it are content..
Conclusion:a good looking devise which has a good hardware but battery and heating spoils it
And those who say Samsung is worst I am using s4 with no issues no heating, good battery kitkat good camera premium phone

actually the only problem with this device is low battery backup.Infact in idle mode it is hardly using any battery but heavy use drains the battery quickly.

download batttery drain analyser from ply sto... morethere is a problem with ur particular handset and u should take it to the service centre.....infact mine is giving very good battery backup.
and dont use an analyser instead do tht ur self...battery dischrg is never linear...so the results are abrupt

download batttery drain analyser from ply store , u will actually know how much % is battery draining per hour .mine is showing 32% per hour . which mean it will last for 3 hours . seriosly batttery backup is really bad

I agree it heats up but that is common with every mobile.
The difference is that in this mobile there is just a 0.3mm glass in between ur hand and processor so u can feel it instantly whereas in other phones there are layers of plastic which is an insulator
about battery dropping from 100% to 85% please do the system upgrade. This wl also solve facebook problem if anybody is facing it
battery backup is good considering the kind of performance u get
it can easily last for a whole day
and as per my testing i did
1. an hour of gaming
2. a whole movie of 90 minutes
3. an hour of music play back
4. the phone was with data on for the whole time and i was continuously chatting on whatsapp.
The screen time i got was around 4hrs which is gr8.
All in all it is a good buy considering the build quality and performance.

Akhil Mumbai, 09 Jun 2014He dudes M going to buy this phone so any comments on this?Mobile is good but only issue is battery backup it doesn't last long if u r a heavy user.It may be around 3-5 hrs of heavy non stop usage.This may be ok compare to industry standard and more ever super amoled displays need more power.

The gionee smart phone is much better then other phones. it has many features and Gionee manufacturing very standard smartphones and keep it up Gionee.

WARNING !!!! Worlds Slimmest phone S5.5 feedback : I was the one of the few who got bought this phone after the launch. Waste of money don't buy . It has battery issue which does not even last for 4 hours and heats up. No one listens and help in customer service, brand new purchase they are saying to leave it at service center. Ridiculous....
