While making a call click
More --> audio recording....
Your call will be recorded.
Then goto 'SD card --> recording--> call recording' to find your recorded file.

suraj, 27 Mar 2014my friend says online phones is lesser price becoz they sell second hand part material pho... moreI am not sure about what your friend says (His comment actually made me laugh) I bought it from a retail store because there is a 7 days period of DOA (Dead on Arrival) from the manufacturer, and if one buys it from online store there is this shipping involved, if device has any manufacturing defect like broken body, accessories then I will have to wait for longer time period along with all these issues I will be getting 4-6 days lesser warranty on my device. :)

whereas retail shop phones are good becoz in that phone,
phone company( like nokia, sony etc.) not used second hand part therefore these phones are costlier then online shopes

I do buy products from online store, but believe me I do not trust any of them blindly, However even if you buy it from a retail store you will have to visit service center for any issues faced.

I can not find any call recording app pre-installed under any folder or under app list.
My short advice, are you looking to buy this device for battery backup? if yes, go for it. all other things can be added using play-store. custom launcher, call recording app, additional software etc.

1. When I tried to uninstall amigo and power management tools they didn't however I was able to uninstall those pre-install games like plants vs zombies etc.
2. there is this voice recorder but not the call recorder (at least I can't see it in apps or settings)
3. I am on the move and using 2g network, will answer you once I will be in 3g zone or wifi. :P
4. Yes you can set your own ringtone.

I think companies try to keep some drawback in every mob so that thenext or higher range device will also attract buyers. Its important. To keep the pace to keep the flow running. Its a market strategy to remain in news(if not popular)...

1. some one told me that gionee has given a option to delete blotware (useless apps like amigo wallpaper or battery saver)in this phone except nq mobile security. is this true ?
2. is there a registered full version call recorder inbuilt ?
3. can i play embedded video from web page ? like from dailymotion ?
4. can i set my own ringtone ?

People who are worried about camera, please go check gogi's review of this device and clear your doubt, I am experiencing a better camera than my canvas 2 A110.
camera in m2 in far better than those of any other devices under this range.
