If you use it in moderate mode u can use i... moreu will get approx 16-18 hrs of 3g browsing , which no handset is providing . as per ur usases also means 1%for 10 mins means 6%for 1hr and almost 16-17 hrs ; while screen on all times , u should known that browsing and heavy gaming consumes most battery ; i am using this handset for almost a month fully satisfied ; u can easily get 1.5 days backup easily . camera and camera is just owesome and it looks better then most of the smartphones under 20000 rs . music is bit of a concern ; bt believe me they will fix it in next software update .go for it guys ....superb

If you use it in moderate mode u can use it for 3 days+ but if u use wifi on and all time screen on and surf net it reduces 1% in every 10 mins. have u guys checked it out? r u having the same back up?

I bought Gionee M2 this week.
Good things.
1. Good packing. As soon as I opened the box, I fell in love the handset. I bought black model. It is super sexy.
2. Superb battery back up.
3. Smooth touch screen.
4. This handset does not know the word lagging/hanging. All games play very smoothly. I played Subway surfer, Temple Run2, Dead Trigger 2. Just one word, Awesome!!!!
5. User interface is great.
6. Internet works very fast. Catches good coverage.
7. Works fast even with multitasking.
Bad things.
1.This mobile is not for Music lovers and Photographers as camera and sound quality is just fair enough.
2.Got two screen guards in the pack. I tried to put one but got bubbles. Mobile shop guy tried to put the second one, again bubbles. So, screen guards are not of good quality. So, be careful fixing Screen guard.
3. Screen resolution is low so little bit stressful for eyes.
4. Front cam is not good. It is very dark.
Conclusion : At this price, it is a good choice for people who don't wanna charge the mobile daily and who are crazy about looks and heavy games. I sold my Samsung Galaxy tab 3 and bought this mobile. I am happy with my decision.

today i saw this M2 for the first time and b4 i gonna buy it , was checking this comments there are two concerning things in common 1- menu lights , 2 - rooting for games and one gentle man has raised query in the internal memmory ? rest its worthy i belive , pls correct me if i am wrong

Seeing the cost of the handset, I think it's value for money. Massive battery, competitive price, nice camera, good build quality etc. Only want them to update it to Android KitKat 4.4.

What is rooting of android mob phone. Is there any compulsory to root the phone before download the high n graphic games. Gionee M2 is the good one to purchase or should we go with brands.
Xiomi is about to launch 1.7 ghz octa core smartphone in 169 $ in India in april 2014. Is there a good deal to go with some other chinies brand.

can anyone tell me what was its internal storage actually they mention that internal 4gb user available 2.2 but when i connect it in my computer it shows 700 mb
why and one more thing is to play the asphalt type games we need to root the phone or not

As it rooted by default then is there any chance to void the warranty?
I personally went to the service centre and found that that there are two guys in the centre and the actually don't know about rooting,they said it is common to android system and every android handset has this feature by default,I thought how less knowledge they have and conducting a servicing centre!
But again the hand set is very very good.
