What is rooting? I searched the net and found that it is like breaking the system for more... moreI bought 5 days back in this mobile.
This mobile is not rooted. Am only rooted through my laptop.
After root finished I installed gravity box. Working fine.
Net speed is tweaked. Love using uc browser 9.6
Camera is already autofocus 8mp. Compare to my pervious canvas 2 its flash light is awesome in low light conditions.
Look wise its awesome. Feeling high end mobile in my hand like Sony xperia.
Battery is the main advantage in this model. MassMassive 4200 mah. Heavy users it will come surely 1and half to 2days. Thats why I bought this mobile.
Quad core processor and 1gb ram is nice. There is no lash at any time.
Screen resolution is enough for me looks bright and vivid.
customized Gionee UI Looks awesome.
Cons.
No notification light.
Back home menu buttons there is no light which is annoying me.
Little bit heavy 195 GMs. But its compromised due to heavy Battery. It takes 5 hours to full charge from 0 to100.

Go for whole black.... It will give the feeling of some high prized phone like...Sony experia..or iPhone

If app support installation in SD. Then it will be installed to SD itself.
But some app can not be installed in SD. Its app's limitations not phone's. For example watsapp can not move to SD..

Too sad but its true.
Even it takes you 2-3 days to get comfortable with buttons without light.. Specially in dark.

I bought this phone today......
When I tried to charge it....it switched off and didn't switched on, Until I removed the charger cable...
