M2 was a phone I bought to take care of my lower-end phone use. My honest submission is that it had far out-worked that range. Tried to replace it with more expensive models, but I keep coming back to it when disappointed. So its my only Android phone since early 2014 of its release, contesting supremacy with my iphone 5s, and doing well in all departments as my iphone, but doing far better with battery life that goes for almost 60hrs of busy usage after full charge. Its 4200mAh battery is great. You honestly want functionality, ruggedity (mine had dropped severally, but i have no cracked screen) and reliance, go for Gionee M2. I dont even know its country of origin.

Itz a very gud phn and itz battery backup is jst awesum..the best thing is dat it has got many features...and it has 1gb ram..best phone..evryone shud buy it ..theres jst a little problem wid d charging jack...req to gionee team to plz work on it

manual solution on vibrate problem.
1- enable the RING profile
2- open settings > sound & vibrate
3- go for 3rd option that (vibrate)
4- enable the option, if that disabled
5- tick mark the all 3 options
6- now select the (vibrate profile) from notification bar. enjoy

Hi my m2 phone does not give battery back up as I saw from the comments likewise says 3 days but I don't seem to get it for one whole day....That means do I need to change the battery or what should I do.... Anyone please let me know....
