Upgrading in kitkat is very easy ...just follow the steps of updating on gionee site
You have to download 3 files of 1gb approx...

This is a wonderful phone, battery back up is so goods, camera so good, screen resolution not bad, net browsing fast, sound quality is not so good & headphone quality is poor. over all phone is good....................

I use m2 a month it's a good phone it's support almost any game like nova 3 modrancombat 4 but only nova 2; splinter cell is not support (when I open splinter cell game and play it's automatic stop (application error) I don't know why.
