hai guys, i bought m4. i am using it for about 3 weeks. here is my review.. for those who planning to buy the phone.
battery life is better.. no doubt. takes almost 3 hours to charge, approximately.
it heats a little some times, but not like other phones it is acceptable.
i haven't found any application force closing kind of stuff untill now. it is little slower when you access the homescree from an opened application. it laged sometimes while i played games like dream soccer 2015. but it doesnt hang up like Samsung devices does .
camera is ok.. in its budget the camera is good. and in daylight, the camera is awsome. the front camera is also same kinda performer. quality degrades while we zoom in. but its very good for day to day selfy shots.
amoled display is super...
feels bit heavy when used for the first time, but it wont be any problem after you get used to it.
body and build quality is excellent.. though you don't get glass protection of corning gorilla.
i am ok with the device but not completely satisfied as i am coming from galaxy s5, which i used last time. but it is dominant to those devices with this price range. its according to your usage what to buy.

Go to System manager- Ecomode-open.Then the option whitelist will be enabled.fTouch Whitelist option .You will get the option for including apps in the whitelist.From there enable the wanted app.

No have gorilla glass protection. So please issue gorilla glass protection gionee team.

Everything is OK except application use to close itself (just like minimizing) when it is in operation.. I sent them my feedback thrice but still I got no response ..Anyone knows the solution ?

Adi, 12 Sep 2015Why are u planning to take it to mars or u want to get it for battrry backup?I don't see any connection or relation of this question with Mars !! Please restrain your answers to the questions asked and support your answers with facts. Who the hell ever told you that autocall recording, Android Lolipop update and 4G LTE features are used by Martians ??????

Gionee Marathon M4 has Bluetooth v4.0. I searched on gsmarena and found out that some of the relic smartphones and all feature phones have Bluetooth v2.0 ! Even an average budget smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer carries a Bluetooth v4.0 with it !!

It is shocking to note that Gionee M4 has Bluetooth v2.0 (yes v2.0!!!) whereas even M4's predecessor M3 has Bluetooth v4.0. M4, a newer phone has v2.0!!! Is it accidental or a cost-saving tweak?
