Restore the factory settings and am very sure it will be fine. The phone is fantastic and i don't seem to see its match at the same price. Thanks

I have bought this phone 2 days back - phone is good overall and looks very stylish. The problem which i have faced is the touch, sometime i need to click twice or 3 time on the icon.
And one more thing, when i use to type any message it will automatically start reading my message with voice and its too irritating i have tried but not found any solution.
Camera is also not that good. Selfie is not up to the mark.
Can anyone help me on this.

- ... moreIn order to prevent auto shut down of apps on the gionee m5, goto the app "system manager" select EcoMode , then select white list, below select "add into the white list" a list of apps will appear then click on the ones that always auto shut down and click OK .
Another option is to enter "settings" then click on "power management" then click on "power manager" now select "none" which is first on the list, the default mode is "normal mode" after u click on "none" your apps will never auto shut down again.

AnonD-484854, 06 Jan 2016It has, but u have to update the romthe 3gb/32gb version is not available in Nigeria so I bought the 2gb/16gb version.
it has no app2sd, so I was just left with 10.83gb right from the start in my internal memory.
I couldn't install any apps that I wanted on my 64 GB memory card because of this problem so I have ran out of space in my internal memory
there's no ota update to rectify that in Nigeria, anytime that I search for an update, I'm always told, you're running the latest version.
I wish Gionee would look into this and release an ota update version that would rectify this app2sd problem for Nigerian version (2gb/16gb version) so that it would tally with the Indian rom version.
Besides the app2sd issue, I'm generally very happy with the general performance of the Gionee m5 in regards to multitasking, battery life, gaming and camera....it scored 30,533 points on antutu benchmark 6 and 1759 muti-core score and 617 single-core score on geekbench.

Finally i just bought it...humm you feel that you have a PHONE despite the weight but i think i will quickly adapt as has been the case with my M3.

Apps like YouTube , MX player torrent downloader shit down frequently . so You wont be able to use your phone smoothly and to download torrents .

AS the specification this phone has 2 GB ram and 1.3 octa prossesser but it sometimes reboots itself. It has happened with my phone 6-7 times in one month.

It is difficult to make Screenshots ahile playing games like COC.

You cant install apps on SD card.
AS the specification the phone has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB intetnal memory . but the phone i ve has just 3 GB RAM and 16 GB infernal memory. ( i might have older Version . )
