Hey I'm using this phone and it works well when I bought it used to get very hot in few minutes of using and after updating software it works well and not much heat .if you want to speed up and save some battery root your phone removes unwanted apps that's in your phone .like bloatwares and use greenify to shut down background process .and don't use Facebook app it slows down phones. I compared can with some 13mp phone and it wasn't that bad even though its only 5mp .. But still it have some softwares issues like some setting doesn't work well no matter how much you change setting some things won't handle after restart .. And use hi locker instead of default locker .

The same problem goes with me too... But I had received the calls but not messages.. Also, when i try to put the screen lock security it automatically lock with its default password which I don't know and I needed to reset my phone many times.... If anyone knows the default password then, plz share to me too!!!!

hello every one i am using the gionee phone from last 5 moths approx now before a month ago it starts all time hanging and not working properly even it's too slow when operating.
and charging port is also not working.
when i reached to service center of gionee phone they said me that here's a moisture in my charging port.
So request you to please do not buy this mobile
