I upgraded mine to Android 15 using Lineage OS and it still works great!
I ordered another 3a in case this one ever dies since I hear there are serious quality issues with the later "a" models.

Since the last update, this device screen display won't turn off automatically even though I set 15 seconds or more times. I should manually turn off by using power button. My doubt is, everyone having same issue or only my device having this problem? There is any solution?

I bought the Google pixel 3A used it was in great shape. I got it for my mom who has habitual problems operating and locating any phone. The pixel 3A was slim lightweight and would fit into her tiny Jean pockets. Convincing her to cross over to iOS has not been successful,she's anti-ipone so this one was supposed to be comparable soon this was appealing maybe I could get her to cross over soon. The phone has ended up in my possession somehow she went back to boost Mobile and bought another piece of crap phone and gave me this one

They still give unlimited google photo storage but with storage saver quality.

I am about to buy a Pixel 3a,I read as a solution for 64gb they gave unlimited google photos storage which doesn't count in storage limit. But at the same time I read few articles that they discontinued and photos uploaded there after jan 2022, which would be counted in storage limit
Which one is true in this?

I got mine some second hand almost five years ago. I am on my fifth screen, second frame and second battery, even though it has degraded some 10% since new. Talk about an expensive phone with all those brocken screens but I replace them myself. The phone has fallen a number of times from my pocket. I guess the fact that the back is made of plastic, to some extent dampens the shocks - or is it only in my imagination? I suspect that a glass back phone would not withstand such harsh treatment. I used to protect my first screens with glass covers but I no longer bother to do so. I have a phone protector, which slightly protrudes beyond the screen so when the phone slides on the floor, the screen somewhat remains schielded. Overall a very good phone with decent photo quality. I am looking for its replacement as the phone is morally outdated but it keeps working. The only gripe I have with the phone is that it doesn't have a physical dual SIM.

But your second statement is not true at all.
In terms of raw app/game performance, the iPhone 13 and Galaxy S10 trumps the 3a by a wide margin. Both the iPhone and Samsung are using flagship level specs for their respective release years, plus iOS and its apps are made specifically for iPhone hardware. You simply can’t compare a 2019 mid/budget phone with a high end flagship made in 2021.
The 3a *feels* faster because, similar with Apple and iOS, Google tweaked and optimised Android to work better with their Pixel phones compared to other manufacturers.

Still using it to this day. Compact & fast. You can't go wrong with pixel quality! The only problem with this phone is its battery. Mine can keep for up at least 6-8 hours straight of moderate usage. It's still reasonable & considered good for 3000mah.

Don't abuse the storage. It has a low endurance.
