How the hell is this their camera focused line of phones, when they don't even allow it to shoot 4k 60 fps video?
Anonymous, 07 Oct 2019For those who are talking about battery capacity, let's wait and see. Let Google announce Pix... moreYou already know it's gonna be absolute trash. There's a reason not even Apple uses batteries that small anymore.
I read somewhere you will get 10000 MHA on pixel 4 XL and the screen is a larger 3.5 inch LCD dual HDR
wifi 6 x ???????????
That battery will die quickly! Good luck with that
OP7T comes with more efficient chipset 855+ with latest vOS and more RAM better battery in half price of PIXEL 4
For those who are talking about battery capacity, let's wait and see. Let Google announce Pixel 4/4XL first and wait for battery endurance test by GSMarena or other users/reviewers.
D.O.A.Dead on arrival...2800 mAh battery?!?
Loooolz....6 GB RAM,64 and 128 GB storage?!? Epic fail.
Anonymous08082019, 06 Oct 2019This phone should NOT have less than 3500mAh battery. I'm NEVER getting a phone with a crappy ... moreThe larger the battery capacity the lower number of charge cycles before worn out. Something to consider.
This phone should NOT have less than 3500mAh battery. I'm NEVER getting a phone with a crappy 2800mAh battery. In the same way, Pixel 4XL should have minimum 4000mAh battery
Is this phone a flagship phone or budget phone? It's not flagship killer for sure... Battery size... Bezels... Camera specs (even though many claim Google makes it up on software Dept) Even some midrangers are packing 855+ chipset...
We'll see when it's time for the pros to test it...
2800mAh.......................seriously????????????????
ippoippo, 05 Oct 2019why does google insist on making their phones so small...5 inch in 2019 imagine LOLIt's not 5 inch it's 5.7 inch , be precise if you want to comment and not look a numpty .....lolz innit
Who wants a brick? Phones are getting way too big for me. Most are small tablets, thank gosh Google still makes something smaller like the Pixel 3, and apparently the Pixel 4. That said the 4 is growing as well. Full feature and usable size is becoming hard to find.
the owner of google play...who is the heart of android phones
use horrible battery
Syn, 05 Oct 2019Don't be fooled by screen diagonal. Original Pixel with it's 5.5 inch screen had a 16:9 aspect... moreYou're right of course. Was just an attempt to compare in the absence of the dimensions for the P4, which is likely to be around the same size as the original P1 XL +/- 5%.
With all the extra internals and functionality, maybe its not "fair" to compare the phone batteries.
Except its 2019 and its absolutely fair to compare. Battery tech has moved forward, software has moved forward, and somehow every other manufacturer has moved forward!
Not aimed at you 7j. Google have just seriously annoyed me and seemingly a lot of people with this one! I already feel like the phone made too many sacrifices (no 5G, no fingerprint, 855 process, 'average' internals, cartoonish design, etc). But the battery is just one sacrifice too many, esp when they are well aware of below average battery of previous devices versus the market.
A quick scan on GSMArenas battery life table virtually guarantees there being a struggle for this phone to make it through an average day dawn til dusk, let alone a full 24hrs.
And let's not forget, this is one of the richest companies in the world. A technology company no less. One that more than likely has a battery research division. Its pathetic!
This is not a cheap Nexus device with a price point that -let's be honest - would make people a lot more comfortable with the sacrifices. This is a premium Pixel device, which is their to showcase (and test) the amalgamation of all their software and hardware progress (and prowess). Apparently that doesn't stretch to batteries.
Maybe they should buy Tesla?
Steve, 04 Oct 2019Here's a thought... The Pixel 4 has a 5.7" screen with 2,800mah battery. The original Pi... moreDon't be fooled by screen diagonal. Original Pixel with it's 5.5 inch screen had a 16:9 aspect ratio. This one with 5.7 inch screen is a 18:9 or 19:9. So in reality the screen area of this 5.7 inch screen is closer to a 5.2 inch phone of 16:9 than the 5.5 inch 16:9 phones.
