The phone deserves all hate for the retail price of €749, with low battery and storage. Then the prices were slashed to a point it was available for €469 in Germany for weeks. It's a steal for that price and got one.
Battery life is less than okay, gives me 3-4 hours of screen on time, forced 90hz display. Although staying indoors means i am on wifi all the time, and brightness is about 50%.
Storage is okay at the moment, but with this camera will run out of storage in a few months, and removing free unlimited cloud storage is a bad move.
Maybe they will learn to price competitively and not skimp on basics like battery and storage, and not sell us garbage cloud pricing plans.

using this 4 months now. no complain! battery speed size sounds screen. control how apps behave in bkgrnd. nice built phone! perfect for my needs,

Did some fine tuning in the settings, turned off certain features that drained power, with battery saver on I made it to about 9pm at 60% with some medium usage (texting, YouTube, web surfing, social media and calls)
Out the box battery is meh, but with some tweaks here n there it’s pretty good. Not the best but it can hold it own.

A coup... moreI just got the phone yesterday, updated everything, didn't install many apps, just things like facebook, youtube, Instagram, amazon, etc. Been using it lightly (text or 2-3 5 min youtube videos while on lunch.) for half a day (9am-3pm) so far and its at 60% with battery saver on. Also using half brightness with autobright settings turned off.
Don't know if that helps, but im coming from an iPhone 11 and OnePlus 7T and there batteries lasted me usually all day with way more usage.

PwndByAChick, 26 Mar 2020After some updates, how is the battery life on P4? I want to buy it please help me After the March update I feel that the battery life is a bit better for me. Not that I had a problem before but it feels slightly better. I have the phone since January with motion gestures and 90hz display on (not forced 90 which is always on), always on display off, dark mode on, battery saver based on my routine adaptive battery on, and the battery life is as good as my pixel 1 when I first got it. I am not a power user but with average charge every 20-24 hours it gives me consistent 4 to 4.5 hours SOT most of the times with 10% battery left. Never more than 4.5 hours SOT thought. If you are a power user I guess you could disable 90hz and motion gestures for some extra juice (easy way of doing it is to use battery saver mode when you know you will have I long day)
Example: 1hour of stardew valley or mini metro which is not the most demanding games consumes 13-15%
overnight standby (around 7 hours) 4-5%
camera unfortunately 10 minutes of use consumes around 8%
40 minutes browsing (chrome) around 8%
30 minutes youtube around 6%

PwndByAChick, 27 Mar 2020I want a compact device what you recommend me ? battery is bad bruh,and looks are subjective,everything else is great,but there is a small problem,idk bout this phone but previous pixels are known to be unreliable,they start annoying after 1 year,so s10e,iphone 11 pro,xperia 5 are better deals
