Batya, 02 Aug 2020So you saying there is no green tint issue anymore??Yes, there is no green tint anymore.
Doogi Fudpucker, 30 Jul 2020Have had the Pixel 4 XL for around 4 months for work and home
Loved the Pixel 2 and traded in... moreI agreed with all of your points.
Especially bad points.
1. But battery will be better when 11 version release.
2. Yes, it's getting hot 🔥 when you are playing the high graphic games. Mine also like this too, but if watching YouTube or social media,it is fine.
Because I am using beta 11.
Batya, 31 Jul 2020Did notice any green tint at low brightness in dark mode? Yes, of course I have when I have updated 11 beta. But they have dropped a new updating to solve it already.
So everything is better than previous version.

Loved the Pixel 2 and traded in the Pixel 3 after replacing 2 units for what I blame on bad software.
Switched to One Plus 6 XL good Phone, but the camera was not good in comparison to Pixel 2 or 3.
Decided to try Google again with the Pixel 4 XL. This is the best phone I have owned in years!
Top Points (order of Importance)
3. HotSpot Tethering
4. Andrioid 10
1. Sometimes it gets hot when using
2. Sometimes Battery get drained faster than usual
If you are on the fence about this device.... Dont be any longer. I am very very satisfied!
Yes ooo am thinking weather i should buy it or go for oneplus 7 pro
It's my second comment on this device.
I have been using it around 5 months. I have nothing to complain like others.
I am not a gamer, but also I play some games such Mobile legend, and Freefire.
The result is good 👍 but not the best devices such other flagship smartphones.
I am using as normal, I check social media in general.
It's great to me, software working well with stock Android, and the important is camera. It is the best camera photo ever.
And the battery life is fine, not bad like some other said.
I will not return to another Android device, because I love it so much.
PwndByAChick, 28 Jul 2020How is battery life after the updates ? I am thinking to buy it I sincerely don't know why everyone complained about it or how much you can really stay on your phone on a daily basis (although the updates made it better) but on my usual usage (I don't play games but I use twitter, reddit, twitch, whatsapp, couple of calls, a lot of photos, Waze and all the other daily usual stuff) not only gets you through the day but on a lighter usage can even extend to two days.
How is battery life after the updates ? I am thinking to buy it
I take apple iphone xs max as Google pixel 4xl and there's no need to buy iphone
What I believe would be an ideal follow-up (seeing the Pixel phones as basic Android phones with all the necessary hardware without going over the top):
Snapdragon 768G with global 4G/5G bands (1,2,3,5,7,20,28,41,66,71,77,78,79,both mmWave)
6.5" QHD+ P-OLED with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+; AOD; In-Display Fingerprint Reader; with symmetrical bezels
6GB RAM/128GB ROM; 8GB RAM/256 ROM (LDDPR5 and UFS 3.0)
As much as I want expandable memory, it's not happening here.
Front-Facing Stereo Speakers
Headphone Jack (I can only hope since the 3a/3a XLs topped a lot of sales for Pixels)
4,500mAH battery minimum
QuickCharge 4 to charge 21W wired
15W wireless charging
10W OTG charging with 10W reverse wireless charging
16MP Ultrawide SONY IMX499 with EIS, 2.2 aperture and Autofocus
16MP Wide SONY IMX519 with OIS and 1.7 aperture
16MP Telephoto SONY IMX498 with OIS with 3X Optical zoom and 2.4 aperture
Being able to take 4K@60fps to 1080p@960fps video
16MP Selfie SONY IMX519 with EIS and 2.0 aperture
ToF sensor for depth and better facial recognition
Being able to take 4K@30fps video
All GPS profiles
Bluetooth 5.1 with AptX HD
The obvious 3 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches
All this for the starting price of $750 and I would be sold honestly. Pixel would regain ground by being the best midrange device on the market with its camera and software support. At least also the battery would be adequate and using it would be nothing more than simple.
