This phone has by far the fastest face unlock of all time compared with other phone, even iPhone 11 ones. Thanks to radar soli. The camera is outrageously brilliant and par with iPhone 11 Pro Max, even lacks ultra wide camera module. The astrography feature is brilliant too.

... moreI am part of a team at nvidia that works on application of AI on photography you would be amazed about what we can do with three 8 megapixel cam of same lens config.
the point being pixel does not need wide angle lens for taking wide angel photo due to its advanced algorithms but having an extra cam with wide angle lens sure does help with fill-in quality.

Headline: Pixel 4 mania. And this is Pixel 4XL. I don't get the mania part to be honest. Buffed up expensive device. We can compare it to many new models of Huawei, Oppo, xioami etc. Chinese brands. But people usually diss many of those brands in USA. Best suitable brand for comparison is no other than OnePlus. And not any other than its latest model 7T Pro.
7T pro beats pixel 4xl in so many specifications, it's not even funny. First and foremost, what everyone yaps about Pixel phones is their cameras. Yet 7T pro has larger aperture and more pixels packed into it. In 2019, a flagship not having ultrawide camera module is downright shame when it's hovering around $1,000. Yes pixel 4Xl doesn't have ultrawide cam. 7T pro has with 16Mp.
Second one is the battery, speed of charge. OnePlus takes that one easily.
And then there is this screen to body ratio, another gut bunch from OnePlus.
List can go on in comparison and you can stack them side by side here on GSM arena and choose differences mode. You'll see better yourself.
After everything stacked up and you have a pony vs. a stallion and pony is about $1,000 and stallion is about $650-$700, you'll be only mental to go with the pony... Unless you're buying the pony for your little girl who doesn't know better, than hey you gotta do what you gotta do.

Stereo speakers is not making much difference when it comes to Mi 9t because they have enhanced audio software which enriched the sound. Why pay for features you dont need?

They cant tell how it was damaged if it was claimed. It doesnt make sense to cover it for that. Same thing about the screen, they can have stronger glass, that doesnt mean its shatter proof, and it doesnt mean they'll cover it if you bashed your phone with a hammer lol.
