I am writing this review from my Pixel 2xl, bad start to a Pixel 4xl review.
First off I loved the Pixel 4xl... When it works/ed.
In less than 8 months I've had the same battery not recognized or battery stuck at 50% issue before it just would not turn back on. AT&T was zero help but at least Google was quick with a repair back in Oct last year.
However this time, less than 8 months later, here we are with the same issue. Now Google is not so quick with a resolution. I chatted with Pearl online from Google with reassurances that she would personally handle this issue. Days later, multiple questions answered, multiple screenshots sent, dozens of troubleshooting attempts that do not work, and a phone just one year old all I have is the equivalent of we'll get to it when we get to it...
"As discussed , I've forwarded the details to our specialist and they're currently working on this. We'll get back to you once we have an update from them regarding this case (Your Google Support Inquiry: Case ID [6-0677000031174])"
I hope your social media scrubber catches this because right now you suck Google and I truly hope everyone else sees this.

I am an owner of pixel 4 xl.
It's a damn good phone if it is working .
My unit has encountered battery issues of showing question mark/ ? /When plugged in and device is turned off.
It is battery connector oboard and battery connector itself is damaged .
I ordered new connector oboard and battery replacement and installed successfully at a crafty local repair shop.
It worked for a month then rear camera stopped working.
Ordered new replacement and successfully replaced it.
Another month the battery issues returned .
Had it with pixel 4 xl.
Went out and purchased the most expensive phone so I can get a similar experience with camera, performance and battery.
I never regret so badly .
I missed my pixel 4 xl and i didn't like the 108 camera or battery life or the heavy device weight .
I ordered a new battery connector oboard and battery too .
Gonna fix it again, use my pixel 4 xl and wait for the next pixel flagship
I love it. I prefer this over my Galaxy S21 because of face unlock,
the larger screen and the UI is cleaner. Sometimes it's easier to tell Google to open an app than to search through the folderless drawer and the green tint is a little weird but I put my phone down at night more so it helps. Face unlock has become a must have for me and I really like the animations and gestures. I can't imagine why anyone needs more phone than this, especially when my gf hogs the TV with her Smart View. lol I hope there's a remake of this amazing device with a larger battery and improved camera. I can't imagine why they didn't push harder against the competition with pricing because it's an awesome overlooked device.
I loved my 4xl. It was fast, got good signal and the battery lasted. Now I have a S21 5g and everything about it is worse. Signal reception, battery life, charging speed, games, everything.
Honestly, I bought a used 64GB P4 XL used for 400 $CAD, and haven't looked back, though I'd recommend getting some kind of cloud storage or the 128GB version, as I have installed a few games and apps and the available storage is quite low.
Binskipy2u, 08 Mar 2021I have the possibility of buying a pixel 4 XL slightly used with a 12 month warranty for $279 ... moreI forgot to add currently I'm using an old Flagship lgv30 and it takes awesome pictures but I'm stuck on Android 8 taking that into consideration I'm still wondering which will be my replacement knowing each will update to a current Android version or at least 10
I have the possibility of buying a pixel 4 XL slightly used with a 12 month warranty for $279 or I could spend the same exact amount on a oneplus 7t . I have weighed the pluses and minuses and I'm still out of loss of which one to get all things being equal which is the better phone to have? Anyone else have the same dilemma and figured out a solution?

Pixel 2 is good camera but some function and quality also cant beat his brother Pixel 4 .
Pixel 2 is 12.2 MP, f/1.8 main cam
Pixel 4 is 12.2 MP, f/1.7 main cam
Same MP but different spec, it will work the way you work with it.
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2021Lol 😆 this phone just came out in 2019. Don't compare with the new iphone 2020. Not logically pixel 2 takes better photos than todays flagships and there are no notable changes in the camera spec of the iphone 12 this year
mrsyamsul, 27 Jan 2021Just bought pixel 4 xl for $297 with free pixel case. Jist too happyFrom where???

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2021Pixel 4 has a better camera and a better zoom than iphones. Thus your comment is quite erroneous. That's not even remotely true. All of the iphone 12 versions have better cameras than the Pixel 4 and 5 range. The Pixel 5 and the iphone 11 are similar.
If you want to sve battery just change the resolution and lower the refresh rate😉
Lots of users experiencing issues with this device, starts shutting off in pocket, then may start showing 50% battery regardless of charge, until finally being unable to charge it or boot it when off the charger. Large thread of complaints, some users claiming the issue even repeats on warranty replacement device. Just started with mine.
JWN, 07 Jan 2021Actually this phone has a Lithium-Ion battery, not Li-PoDuh! LI-PO is another type of Lithium ion battery either by abbreviation or by design.
