Good reception maybe WiFi not the best in far areas. Camera is stunning, good performance on gaming, battery life is great, timely updates and good on speakers audio.
This phone is brilliant and for the price tag you shouldn't have doubts.

Using pixel 4a for 3 months. I really like the phone.
Good:
2 day battery life
no lag
good, reliable camera
Bad:
other person during call hears echo sometimes
weak/strange wifi, switches to 4G when other phones stay on wifi
If you dont need good camera other phones could be a better deal

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2020I am confused between samsung a71 and pixel 4a. Need guidance. There is a big difference between the two devices. The pixel 4a has features including:
- A large display for gaming and watching movies and TV
- A snappy chipset which is good for gaming
- a large battery for all day usage
- 3 years of Android updates
But the A71 also boasts some impressive features
- A big screen as well
- A Higher resolution main camera for extra detail
- A smaller holepunch
- A larger body for bigger hands
- A Samsung branded name
In my personal recommendation, I would get the Pixel. It is cheaper, has better camera modes, Android updates and a more durable design with a screen which is easy to replace.

This smartphone is very good value. It has a full high definition screen, a snappy 8 core processor, incredible camera software for portrait mode, night mode and incredible editing in gallery. The rear fingerprint scanner is fast and secure, and the phone has clean Google software for a stock Android experience. The holepunch does not block much of the screen. The big screen is perfect for all hands, and the battery life is very good, especially as it has an 18W fast charger in the box. The vibrations and haptics are very good and it is very smart, with Google assistant having the latest features. There is an always- on display and the OLED display is an excellent bonus feature.

Been using this for a month now; absolute beast of a phone at this price point.
Pros: Very fast and responsive, no bloatware, good camera, fast updates for latest stock Android, gestures work well, relatively cheap compared to flagships, no gimmicky expensive and useless features (e.g. curved screen)
Cons: Screen temperature is warm ONLY (colour correction is only for colour blindness), brightness (even on max) is slightly lacking, battery capacity is so-so

Run Malwarebytes and see if that helps
