For a brand new mid range phone at the price it is, I found it almost exactly like my old huawei p10 (size, shape) only slightly worse at everything. Cameras, interface, etc. I bought that for the same price around 2 years ago. Poor effort from Google and suspect a lot of the reviews have been paid for by a company struggling right now to boost their sales in an economic recession.

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2020How is the battery performing....i mean how much SoT u r getting?I get 6 hours of screen on time and 5% battery remaining. In heavy on social media and play about one hour of CoD.

I fully agree with you when it comes to preferring small phones. I am a guy but I like small android phones myself. I would have loved to get Sony xperia XZ2 compact, but that wasn't available in my part of the world. S10e was still very expensive for my budget and it is not available any more too. I have gone for Pixel 4a as I found it a good mix of all my requirements and still economical compared to others.

whatever price could be, pixel 4a phone using me is worthless unless camera. it hangs everyday. always hang when calling or incoming, when opening multiple app, notification bar also malfunction sometimes. the ram and memory provided seems line not giving good performance. it heats up quickly, may its because of its plastic body.

Since this site no longer includes info about the audio quality and loudspeaker decibels, etc., how does the microphone, speakerphone, and headphone (wired and Bluetooth) volume sound?
Years ago, I returned an HTC model b/c the volume was too low for my liking. I've heard some ppl complain the volume is on the low side w/this pixel 4a. I'm still rocking a first gen Motorola Moto G b/c I love it's tiny size, great audio loudness, bloat-free Android, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The only phones I'm even considering is the OG pixel or pixel 4a. I hate Samsung bloat but the S10e is out. I'd maybe consider the Apple SE or Mini but I prefer android and they both lack headphone jacks, which I prefer to have as a backup when running and snowboarding.
I've been hoping for Motorola to release a compact model besides the Razar. Am I delusional to keep waiting?

PwndByAChick, 21 Oct 2020Should I keep my Xiaomi Mi A3 or switch to pixel 4a? I want a new phone . Please help me the pixel 4a has a low autonomy while the Mi A3 has a great autonomy. In addition, the Pixel 4a's screen is significantly smaller. Although the Mi A3 is only 6.1 inches, you can feel the difference. For all the rest the Pixel is much better, especially screen brightness and video photos
