You're never going to find the perfect phone you want because ALL of them have one or two specs that are just below your unrealistically high standards.

If the pixel 4a is introduced at around INR 25000 to 27000, it will be a great selling phone in India but if it gets overpriced like the last year Pixel 3a, people will start looking for other options.

How's the screen? How's its HDR compared to HDR10? is the HDR format same as flagship's HDR?

Almost perfect phone, been waiting for compact phone like this. I hope budget phone will have around 6 inc (-+0.2 inc) screen size with high screen to body ratio. It suck that 2020 phone all above 6.5. Iphone got good size there. but the screen cut out ugly and battery so small while being overpriced. Currently using redmi note 9s, if i got money i might buy this pixel 4a. Well i can wait 2 years more to wait more compact phone like this to come out. I might be surprised that i might found better value phone. Add 10 more year might get better technology like underscreen camere. Better battery technology. Sigh technology developing so fast. Well i usually change phone every 2 years.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2020One good camera can never beat the versatality of multiple camerasThe other cameras are absolutely useless because they are very low resolution specially at this price point, you will find that people won't even use them that much because they know they are going to get in the end bad results. 2 megapixel macro is a joke, added just to fool users into believing they are getting more features for the price.

I'm not comparing this battery to a 4k one from 3 years ago, I'm saying ... morebro, google has really good optimizations, and many reviewers reported 8 hours average use even without google's advertised app usage learning for better battery life, which could increase battery life by quite a lot. don't jump into conclusions here.
