With some sharp selection criteria received, I ended up with what I considered size-optimized selection abt a month ago: Samsung S10e. Other criteria I had to respect were: non-chinese product, specific price cap, decent water/dust resistance, decent battery performance. AFAIR, I ruled out the qualifying pixels due to the latter point.

Oooo..... Can't wait to do a trade in with my current phone (Vivo Y17). SOC doesn't really matters these days they all pretty good anyway and I don't plan to do GAMING!!! on it anyway, Small battery meh... no problem because the darn thing is so small and portable, 128GB memory alright!!!

I didn't find any but usually pixel phones have bad battery optimization and they perform worse than other phobes with similar battey size

Really interested in this device. I'm sorely missing the compact line from sony.Dafuq is up with all these monstrously large phones.I cannot be the only one that is physically incapable of using such a phone with one hand.

Well, it maybe is the answer to the SE, but IMO Google slap themselves hard by delaying the launch, and, October availability, also, in limited region. Me, too am waiting to buy this device from idk when maybe February, but i don't really understand their decision. AFAIK, Covid and BLM are some of those major things that made them delay the launch. But delaying for almost 3 months(5 if October)? Why don't just do an online launch? Just promote it using YT, they own it anyway.
Also, only 1 color option? The Barely Blue device got me very interested, now it's Just Black. I do understand that there's other option out there, but i want a Pixel. I almost gave my money to another device, until i saw the confirmed launch date. Still, only launch, not available.
Why can't it be launched and available in all region, IDK, in a week maybe?

My next phone and i cant wait until oct 1st but seem strange coming from a flagship to a mid range, I just want a more secure and fluid android experience. I love my p20 pro but no longer supported with security patches...
