I too got confused whether I received a defective piece or what.. but seems its normal and google also acknowledges it

I did experience the battery go from 70% down to 50% when copying files over, but not that extreme. The only issue I found was Bluetooth sound for my airpods being usually too quiet. I don't know if I figured that out yet

I just got my pixel 4a delivered a day back. Issues are
- Speaker sound is too distorted which make me felt bad.
- Battery drained nearly to 10% from 90% while i'm copying data from my old redmi note 9 to pixel 4a.
- And the most popular 'heating issue'.
Do anyone got hit with this issues ?

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2021I think we need to call and they'll pick up the device.That will not solve the problem. heating l is a congenital, genetic problem of pixel phones.There is a new Pixel 5a over heating problem

Not in my state. Thought it would be fixed when the update is received. Trusted in every update..10 months used. Now Android 12 is in great anticipation. Hope that fixes

this one from google is really good but if only they could pack pixel 5's 4000 mah battery in it, that would have been great. I dont understand why inspite of having single camera lens and same form factor they couldnt pack 4000 mah in pixel 4a. the pixel 6 lineup is just going way away from one handed use. or they couldve just added a headphone jack to pixel 5. wish they come with a pixel 5 2022 edition which has SD 778 atleast and a headphone jack. if they can take battery to 4500 mah in same form factor, kudos.

Any comments? or Shall I upgrade to iP... moreI would say if your in the apple eco system stay iPhone, the iPhone will be worth more in the future and has a better processor if you want gaming, however as a lower cost upfront option the pixel 4a would be best and a higher memory for the cost.

camera app on my Pixel 4a crashing instantly. most actual updates did not fix the issue. this has been reported nearly 2 years ago. google spent incredible one page where explaining how to mitigate that. for me and for many more users this did not help. so I have good phone with excellent camera which turns on, or maybe not.

The only thing ... moreAfter a lot of thoughts I ordered pixel4a , meanwhile iPhone 12 mini price decreased, so I ordered that too. Now, I have to cancel one, any thoughts. Is pixel 4a can get me through 2023 in terms of performance.
