What's the issue with 4a5g when you try to call the screen becomes dark and the call ends up. 2nd when you receive Whatsapp voice message and tap on that the screen again going to dark mood and voice disappears.what is the solution please.

Can anyone help?
It seems that it's a bug of Pixel 4a, 5 and 5a.
Can't help even if you replace your screen.
Sometimes it just lost multi-touch out of nowhere. And when plugged in, the swipe animation is kinda sluggish.
But to recover multi-touch is very easy, it's just a hassle that you have to do every once in a while.
Turn off any lift/touch the phone to lit the screen up.
Lock your phone screen. Then wipe your screen while the screen is off so it has no dust, etc...
Then open your phone again, either via the power button or fingerprint. During the moment it lit up the screen, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING currently touching the screen, either your fingers, dust, ... At this time, the device do some re-calibrate in the background, and touching the screen may hinder the work. Just hold the phone on the side.
There you go, the multi-touch works again.

I have been using this phone for the good part of the past year, I know It is an old phone but it is a solid one.
It still has great cameras, thanks to Google processing, a good enough battery, and a value-for-money chipset. Yes, it has some overheating issues when recording longer videos in 4k but other than that can't complain.

joseph, 09 Nov 2023I had a hard time chooaing between pixel 4a 5g and 4xl, choosed 4a 5g because it has better ba... moreHad to choose 4a5g against 4xl because of extra year of OS support and the battery life also there's no a big notch on top of the screen. Otherwise the 4xl has better processor, glass back, waterproof and bigger screen.
