Google Android Rumors

The first 5G Pixel phone from Google is expected to launch soon and we’ve got a substantial new leak which gives us a set of official renders of the Pixel 4a 5G alongside its full spec list.

As a whole, expect a larger version of the Pixel 4a though with plenty of meaningful upgrades all around. The major differences being the larger 6.2-inch screen and the more powerful and 5G-ready Snapdragon 765G chipset. There’s also a secondary 8MP ultrawide camera and a larger 3,885mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The display still features a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner for the 8MP selfie cam and boasts a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The body of the phone is made from plastic and features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The back houses the 12.2MP main and 8MP ultrawide cams.

The 4a 5G will ship with Android 11 out the box and will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Its announcement is expected to take place on September 30. Google officially confirmed pricing will start at $499 in the US, while Europe will pay €499/£499 for the 128GB version.
