Using it as my workphone.
Overall it's a midranger for flagship price with a descent autocamera shots.
+ Ok battery life, but I would appreciate more
+ Good camera shots
+ Extra Android features
- Had stability and performance issues on Android 11 but after upgrade to 12 all is ok
- No headphone jack
- No Dual sim
- Not so good performance

Bob, 03 Nov 2021Say wha? This Pixel 5 is very light, and is not top-heavy.The Pixel 5 in my hand is top heavy..though not a complaint. Rear fingerprint sensor is much faster and functional than my Pixel 6 under display sensor even after recent update. My pixel 5 will last me well over 24hrs, where the same usage on the Pixel 6 will not last throughout the night; Saying 18hrs or so. Both screens are 90hz and the Pixel 5 is much easier to use one handed. Both have a clean look. No fabric cases available from Google for Pixel 6.

They need to keep the rear fingerprint on the next phone. If it aint broke dont mess with it

RandyRiffin, 31 Oct 2021You would be better off getting the Pixel 5, as it has a 90Hz refresh rate, wireless charging,... morethe amunt of space that screen vibrating speaker used could have been allocated to a headphone jack and/or earpeice. it would have easily got it listed among best compact phones ever.

Only thing it doesn't have is an actual earpiece speaker, which I think was a bad decision as Google shot themselves, it was easy to put a good speaker, as they did with their past phones, and would actually make their phone appealing to me.

So, it is at most 100 dollars cheaper than Pixel 6. Ok, Pixel 5 has a lighter build, main and ultrawide camera, 90 Hz Oled, great battery just like pixel 6. 6 just has a better main camera and a lot better performance. I would say both are great deals, but if you like a more simple design and superfast performance is no matter to you, then pixel 5 is better for you.

But Pixel 5 has higher refresh rate, better battery (albeit worse performance), faster charging and longer software support than S10e. If you can save up a bit more, you get the S21 or Zenfone 8, which are wayy better deals than both of these.

Even the regular Pixel 6 is really big, but this is small enough to be comfortable for almost anyone. The 5a has the same screen size as the 6. And even without that, the 5 is still a good phone. It's definitely high on my list for my next phone, since my phone is getting old now, and I really like its size. Not sure how you didn't see points as obvious as these, but I guess that's how trolls work. 🤣

Do not buy this phone other than the countries it has been launched it doesn't support 5G and VoLTE in other countries. It's simply not compatible even the frequency bands are same. The phone is not allowed by carriers to connect on 5G and google is not interested to certify it.

If just Pixel 5 would come with 256GB. I'm now using a 5 years old phone (OnePlus 3T) which has 128GB and I'd have liked to upgrade to a more comfy ROM. Love the form factor of Pixel 5 but for the GBs I'll move to Samsung S10e with 256GB for a fraction of the price $200 (used phone obviously).
