Really? 700 dollars? You could buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, the iPhone 11, or the Honor 30 Pro Plus. Google, I’m disappointed.

And why stop at 128? I could easily upgrade my phone to 256GB when needed without buying a new phone. Also, when I buy a new phone I can transfer all my media library and documents from one phone to another in few seconds. I don't need to sync them trough some slow connection. Simply having SDcard capability in the phone is flexible. You could always ignore it if you don't need it, even though it's there. BTW,
New USB earphones are also more expensive than equally powerful 3.5mm jack ones. Right now I'm using same earphones on the go with my phone and at home with my computer. That's so convenient. (I'm glad you didn't mention bluetooth earphones. Those are just another junk I need to remember charge)
I respect Pixel phones for their camera. But that's all. IMO great camera is not enough to compensate for omission of sdcard and headphone jack. In my POV. YMMV.

I think it's a great phone. They have been stepping up their features from the rest of the android phones available in the market. And I think Google pixel 5 is one of those affordable phones with great specs and cameras! Must buy!

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is decreasing in price, if you are from Europe, you will have the possibility to buy it from TradingShenzen. Now, this phone will cost you €678. The camera is probably very similar (Highest now on DXOMARK). The price of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will decrease even more, which makes the Pixel 5 almost feel obsolete. Of course, the Pixel has Stock Android which is a plus.
