Nokia Android Rumors

A new leak gives us a list of chipsets that Nokia will use in its Android lineup this year. The HMD-owned brand has three mid-rangers on the market with two of them employing the Snapdragon 430 and one the even less exciting MediaTek MT6737. It will get better though as this roadmap reveals.

Corroborating previous rumors, it says that the upcoming Nokia 7 will use a Snapdragon 630 and the Nokia 8 will use a Snapdragon 660, while the Nokia 9 gets the top of the line Snapdragon 835.

We also got word of an entirely new device, albeit that's hardly going to impress the power users. The Nokia 2 will be the company's cheapest smartphone offering and will carry a Snapdragon 212.

So it appears there will be something for everyone by the time HMD announces its full 2017 lineup. And with the Zeiss partnership pointing to a proper cameraphone it appears good times are coming for the Nokia fans.
