Here's how Samsung tests the Galaxy Fold's hinge durability

Samsung Misc

The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be the first commercially-available folding phone by a big brand and will cost €2,000 when it goes on pre-order in a month so future buyers would expect it to be made of some stern stuff to warrant that price.

Samsung claims the Galaxy Fold can withstand 200,000 folds without issue and is backing up its claim by providing a glimpse of its stringent folding test.

The Galaxy Fold is hooked up to a machine that opens and closes it constantly for a week to accumulate the rated 200,000 folds. That test simulates what 5 years of use (if you open and close the phone 100 times a day) will do the hinge.

So it looks like early Galaxy Fold adopters needn't worry about durability.

Just recently we learned a few insider details about the Galaxy Fold. The slight display crease it has when completely unfolded is reportedly unnoticeable once you get the screen brightness above 70% and you can't use the Galaxy Fold as a sort-of laptop because the screen turns off when the display isn't completely folded flat.

For me, the screen will get burn in just within three days only, not need to wait for a few months with brightness above 70%.
