It will work in other countries if your network band is mentioned. For 2G network, 900/1800 and for 3G network 2100 Mhz is needed in most countries. US, Canada and some countries have different bands like 850, 1900 Mhz etc.

stupy ppl thinks if it`s octa core, more better then others -_- poors :D mediatek`s octa core is a totally trash, i`d buy Snapdragon`s Dual Core then Meditek`s Octa Core :D

1. Snapdragon 800 is most powerfull (at second place is tegra 4 cuz i not handed tegra 4 phone yet)
2. most apps uses a 2-3 core, and your 8 core trash cpu won`t even make difference
3. camera won`t beat
4. galaxy j has 3gb ram
tell u more reasons why this phone will be trash? :D

i`m not gonna buy a phone which uses MediaTek chip :D worst chip ever made after RocketChip and so on :D who`s gonna buy it, even if TRUE OCTA CORE this phone will be laggy :D
