hi.
I purchased this in PH. an update was automatically received. it was dloaded over wifi, and ever since the rear camera only operates 20% of the time. the version is emui 3.0. Android 4.4.2. chm-U01..........V100R001C636B180.
After contacting Huawei support, all they could do is tell me to factory reset. this has done nothing.
I seek help in rectifying this IF POSSIBLE. I am tech savvy.
I also would like to update this to a later version of android, and if possible marshmallow.
I am quite frustrated at this phone, and getting quite close to using it as a paperweight.
any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Been using this phone for over a year. It's simply the best in this price range. The camera is love. People facing battery discharge issues change the phone to ultra battery mode when you have to travel or out all day and wouldn't be able to charge it. Use a simple app and junk cleaner like Clean Master to keep crap out of your phone and improve it's performance or control overheating while using games or YouTube. I have been using Honor 3c to and now I'm waiting for their latest model 5c. Tried using Lenovo in between and despite the specs saying the camera specs are same as 4c the camera sucked so badly. Samsung's quality too has deteriorated over the years unless you're using the really really expensive note series. Use Huawei guys, it's simply the best.
