I can recommend to turn on Force GPU Rendering in Developer Mode, it speeds up the phone and u get rid of the lag. Unfortunately it might lower the battery life with this option enabled

I just upgraded my huawei from kitkat to marshmallow and it is very fast. streaming, viewing and playing video, tethering whatsoever its so very fast. I loved my huawei eversince, i have huawei P7, Huawei mediapad X1 and Huawei ascend 5x. I am fan of huawei gadgets.

I get white blank screen when I open apps for 2-3 sec, very annoying. It also keeps overheating but that was an issue on honor 4x as well. Other than that its pretty good phone
