if you are facing any speed and lag problem just go to setting> power saving and change it from smart to normal.
i don't know why huawei made smart mode a default mode. but it underclocks cpu and always closes background apps.
when you do the thing i said, phone gets super fast

Please has anyone here root this phone? I want to root mine, since it's a new product don't know if there is any restriction or issue associated with it. if there is what best way to root this phone?
Also can it be unrooted after rooting?

i came from a iphone, and i just ordered the Honor 5x, want to try android this time, can some one tell me if this is a good phone for the money, i understand that it does not have gyroscope, is there an update or alternative to be use, help!!!

I got the phone last month for $235 . I has fallen five times and i dont like the scratches emanating fron the falls. Luckily for me, the screen hasn't broken. Like they say, prevention is better than cure.
I have visited several phone accessories shops in owerri , didn't find its pouch or external glass screen.
Please if you know where I can get them in Nigeria kindly quote this post

pl... more Hi, I upgraded my 5x to marshmallow 6.0.1 yesterday i.e. 13/7 from my device itself OTA with the help of wifi connection (very slow it was... like 4 hrs.). So the upgrade is available now. After a few hiccoughs it installed the 1.1 GB package I downloaded.
When I downloaded the same pack on a computer on the hicare.in website the size of that download was 1.5 GB !!. So can you or anyone else tell me why the there are two different sizes?

A Little Querry, 24 Jun 2016I've put a 4G nano sim into the Honor 5X ... But the phone seems to only detect it as 3G or HS... moreI have read that one sim card slot works with 3G/4G, and the other one just with 3G, maybe it's what is happening to you.
