Huawei Honor Android

Yesterday we reported the Honor phone with model numbers JAT-AL00, JAT-TL00 and JAT-L29 popped up on TENAA with all its specs. Today the photos are also here, revealing how the new affordable handset from the Huawei subsidiary will look like.

While the phone is nowhere near the revolution of smartphone form factors like the Honor Magic 2 and Honor View 20, this new device is clearly following the Honor trends in design. Volume keys and power button on the right side, nothing on the left, 3.5 mm audio jack on top. The 13 MP camera is positioned in the top left corner, while the Honor logo sits below.

Honor introduced new design trend with the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max phones where a quarter of the panel is off-colored to accent the camera setup and the company logo. The alleged Honor 8A will have the same non-glossy part of the back since it is part of the 2018 affordable series. The images also confirm the lack of fingerprint scanner and the device will likely rely on Face Unlock.
