You have to compare same storage devices, consider such things as AMOLED VS LCD (Are you sure it's amazing? As far as I know it's average. I might be wrong, though), camera features (ultrawide only in 9X Pro) and then it's fair comparison. That way they will be pretty close (comparable price as well) and winner depends on one's preference (once again).
However if you plan just grab the cheapest device with bigger display and faster chipset (in some scenarios), then you can say it that way.

How much is the ... moreAs for those small things, people are demanding nowadays simply because competition is pretty tight. If you put few small things together the result might be buying other brand easily. Few grams more, longer charging time, average LCD and so on, yes you can live with it but you don't have to -depends on person's preferencies. (besides, it's 2019 things are moving on, naturally not everybody must accept 2hrs 20min charging...) Anyway I think we all agree here this phone is good offer and I'm sure it will sell good. That doesn't mean It's the only choice for those who prefer something it lacks. It's not.
As for me, don't worry I'm not stupid. Not gonna buy Samsung for twice as much. Just think of this: I could buy A70 for similar price (comparing same storage devices) under 300 EUR even though not brand new sealed package it could be considered. K810 performance is better overall but except gaming (I don't game) in other every day use is similar to its SD competitors. Other is comparable as well, and packs AMOLED. I don't mean to get it (to me that taller screen useless +heavier) but if you go check out A70 forum you'll see people are happy with it. This is just an example, what I mean to say 9X is simply one of the options but definitely not the only one. Again, not talkin about any overpriced phone. No worries.

Samsung is ripping people off with its midranger smart phones. However, its flagships are worthy. Look at what honor does.. It's amazing.. This cheap phone can even beat k20 xiaomi let alone samsung a50 and other midranger. Some people may refer to Ips lcd and consider it a weak point but lets be honest; perhaps super amoled screens are a little more attrctive in showing colors and displaying contrast. However, the lcd on honor 9x is amazing and it is not a deal breaker. I'll be waiting for this smartohone.

Only thing I was talking about was size/weight, nothing else. Didn't compare to A70 overall by any means. I've seen a few guys who bought phone and THEN found out it's too big so I think people should think fist and act then, that is all.
If you ask me, I'm not sure if I wanted 6.6inch/200g phone. Got P Smart Z in my hand lately and yeah I'm starting to think It's too much. Not yet decided finally, though.
Don't get me wrong anybody, this phone is one of good midrangers. It has its pros and cons like everything.

How much is the samsung a70? And you get better performance and similar size screen for half the price. Remember the Kirin 810 is outperforming the Snapdragon 730. Do not mention unimportant things like really a few grams mean that much to you. Also about the people that mention fast charging. How much time is the difference maybe like half an hour on the 4000 mah battery if you compare it to 18w charging like it makes that big of a difference. If you are stupid enough pay twice as much for small things

Anyone who consider buying this, better check it out... moreThis is a phone for asian girls, they like their phone to be very big. They can put it in their bag, but it is too big for a guy to put it in his pocket.
Anyway it seems a very impressive good phone for its price.

Anyone who consider buying this, better check it out in real life and make sure you really want it first. This is bigger and heavier than common 6.4 inch for sure (more than A70 which screen is also taller). I've just met guy selling phone because of this.

GSM prices are often quite close, tough in the Nordic nations everything is about 20-25% more costly due to tax stuff...

You can compare some Honor or Huawei phone they sell in your country with price on GSMArena to get some idea if you should expect higher price.
