A60, honor9x/pro, then i came... moreWell those phones are worth consideration but I'm a bit more interested in pop-up design + SD 730 or Kirin 810 + best camera possible so that's more like upper midranger (Mi9T, 9X). But who knows how it ends, I have to dig some phone too... :)
CC9 looks overall good but I think it will be released as Mi A3 Pro or so for global so it'll also take a little time to wait and see.

A60, honor9x/pro, then i came across mi cc9 - check it out - really good, then mate 30 lite/nova 5i pro among others... My answer is... Let's see, I've got to dig one of these phones. Haha

So it's one more pro for pop-up and now we're safe from selfie cam for a while though it'll come back to possibly spy as UD cam (LOL that's 21st century).
Anyway, full size display is obviously a way forward and pros for pop-up are bigger than cons. It's just some people are needlesly afraid of pop-up damage. There are much more complicated internal parts in smartphone so why bother, makers can make such mechanism easily plus it's tested good etc. (9X selfie opens beer bottle on youtube)

yeah, i also read about that xiaomi and oppo already having under display camera prototypes
it would bring back unauthorized front camera spying again lol

I'd like to consider this coming from 7x! But what keeps me not to buy is the 'not too slow' updates in my honor 7x that until now i haven't received the Pie update and that elusive game turbo booster. Don't get me wrong, honor phones are one of the greatest especially build factor.

When full quality under display camera is available, finally it'll be solved and no one will complain about notch/pop-up/punch hole any more :). So they're all temporary solutions (thought my pick is pop-up too for now).
LCD should be also better for eyes but they don't provide best possible quality displays in phones these days so I think this one will be just average too.
Hopefully priced not more than about 220 EUR for basic version or 290 for 6/128 in Europe about the beginning of sale (that would be acceptable).
