I have it. Mine has a fingerprint scanner but soem other models of my friends don't. And though it's 3020 mah, it lasts more than most other devices I've tried. My tablet with 4000mAh can't match this. I think the Helio P35 is a power efficient chipset.
Only con for me is that 2GB ram. But that would be okay if it was double the price! At this price it's value for money is great.

better go check Samsung J720.
both.phones priced similarly here in my country,
but the Samsung one is equipped with fingerprint sensor, dual camera, and removable battery.

there is model of this here at ksa for only 499 sar, honor 8a w/ fp scanner but the ram is 2gb

I think you're confused with Honor 8X, Honor 8C, or even Honor Play, and the battery life is just meh compared to those other 3 phones.

Okay no FP sensor? Really? I expect it to have that if the battery is only 3020mAh, it should been a 4000mAh of they had to ditch the sensor! Why did they not do one or the other? I mean 3020mAh on a octa-core + 6" display is not gonna last 1/3 of a day! The node shrink may help a little but at best it may last half a day... D:
