Honor View 10 global launch set for today, limited-edition Honor 7X red coming soon

Huawei sub brand Honor has announced that the Honor View 10 smartphone - which was recently made official - will go on sale in overseas markets starting today (January 8). The list of countries where the device will be available for purchase include India, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

Other key markets like Malaysia and Russia will get the handset sometime later this month.

Moving on, Honor also announced that a a new limited edition Honor 7X Red will be launched just in time for Valentine's Day. It'll be available in select markets including the United States, Russia, India and Western Europe (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain).

Only 20,000 units of the red Honor 7X will be up for grabs. An exact release date, however, wasn't revealed.

"Honor is partnering with Monster, one of the world's largest headphone manufacturers, to give the first 100 purchasers of Honor 7X Red in each country/region the red co-branded Honor-Monster AM15 headphones as a special gift," the company said in a press release.
