How do you use your phone? Here comes the survey

Misc

Last week we told you about our plan to find out how you are using your phone. Well now we are delivering the survey that we promised and we are hoping that you will spare a few minutes and fill it in for us.

The survey is here.

We carefully monitored all the feedback you gave us, when we announced this new project. Some of the suggestions made it to the list, while others were rejected for various reasons.

The thing is we want to know what do you use your phone for and not what features of the phone do you need for that. That’s why we didn't include stuff like multi-tasking or the battery performance as those aren’t applications of the phone themselves, but just means for using your phone's features.

This is also why we found battery life has no place in this poll - longer battery life only makes your phone better at other tasks, rather than being an applications on its own.

Finally, from your feedback we understood that asking you what features you use is not enough. We remodeled the poll so you can tell us how often you use each of the features.

The poll should only take about a couple minutes. All you need to do is tell us how often you use each of the listed features of your device. We've also added an extra column - "Would if I could", which you should pick if you would like to use the given feature, but you are unable to do so (your phone/carrier doesn't support it or you think cell phones aren't comfortable enough for that yet).

Just keep in mind that you should answer all questions before you submit. Thanks for your time.
