Again there are phones with SD 650 and helio X20 at way less than half the price...
SD652 is rated much higher than SD 808. Just look back at LG G4, it was very good. Processor for smartphones has made quantem leap this 2 years, they had gotten very powerfull.
Pretty much my dream phone. I don't need the cpu, and I probably won't notice the speed... Please just be 300 or below.
If ram was 4 I will buy this but I'm buy m10 now and ....can't wait...

guess ill be purchasing unlocked edition from the us with sd 820 always have never purchased on indian model m7 developer edition m8 developer and now 10.
Horrible from HTC. Why not the latest snapdragon 820 in India. Waiting for this phone as a HTC fan. Won't but this nonsense lifestyle phone. So sad from HTC as most of the HTC fans in India are really disappointed. Kindly reconsider the true HTC flagship phone.

Gurijala, 12 Apr 2016You dont get it. A9 is FHD this is QHD. It wont be as smooth...dear friend, you are speaking with a hardware/software repair man. I know what I said. I have to mention that A9 has SD617 and DDR3 ram class but this phone if has qhd display, then in other hand has better SoC (SD652) and DDR4 ram. also SD652 has A72 and ..... don't ignore these 2. please think and consider carefully then write.so take my word that htc 10 lifestyle will do that I said. be happy and good luck.
I am using HTC phones for 6-7 years now but what the heck is wrong with you HTC now!!! I was waiting for this phone for so long and after such a wait we in India are not even getting top of the line specs on your flagship...
Thanks for making it obvious to go for Samsung... Extremely disappointed...

I saw htc A9(3g of ram) runs every game very smooth and can't find any delay or lag in htc A9.so htc 10 lifestyle will run every games perfectly and very easy
good option for ppl on budget but HTC would price it higher as usual where other phones like S7 become more appealing especially given the fact that it was launched earlier and is likely to receive a price cut soon.
Gurijala, 12 Apr 2016If you play games, you are better off with S7 or 6S. This wont work, not with QHD screen.Exactly what I said. Adreno 510 barely performs good on 1080p screen of Galaxy A9 and HTC used a QHD screen. What in the world they were thinking? Playing games on this device is like playing crysis 3 with all settings at max on GTX 760 or R9 270 graphics card

I was pretty angry at first when HTC India launched the SD652 powered version. Then thought for a minute. This model has only two differences compared to SD820 HTC 10.
First of all, its CPU performance. Sporting two quad core clusters of A72 and A53.
Its CPU performance is good, not best if we look at performance of Galaxy A9 (2016).
It is the GPU department which should be worried. Even at 1080p, the adreno 510 performs like mid-ranger on Galaxy A9. To make the matter worse, the HTC 10 lifestyle has 2k screen. GREAT!
Secondly, 3 gb RAM is neither too low nor too high. But taking into perspective, SD652 + 3 gb seems enough.
On the other hand, HTC has kept everything same except the processor and RAM size.
It really depends on how do you use the device to make a difference between those two.
Eventually, the launch price will or I would prefer to say 'should' make a difference between two models. What do you say People?
