I hear that it will be annunced on may and i waiting for it since december:)
Is it possible to change your wm 6.5 to Android™ 2.1 cause i`ve heard romours about it..
and when the hell is that thing coming out cause i`ve been waiting sinds january to buy it..?
This phone wont be upgraded to Windows Phone 7 simply because it runs Winmo 6.5. As Microsoft has indicated Win Phone 7 and Winmo 6.5 will coexist. Meaning they will both be here to stay. Last month Winmo 6.5.2 upgrades were released (for certain phones) and Winmo 6.5.3 is rumoured to make an appearance next month.
Think of Winmo 6.5 for the business user and Win Phone 7 more consumer focused
The main problem people don't seem to realise is that WinMo 7 phones need to only have 3 buttons along the front. So this will not upgrade, neither will the HD2 or really any other WinMo phones at the moment. It's not a ? whether the HD2 will upgrade, it's a no. The Toshiba TG01 would most likely have the upgrade, but even that doesn't have a 5.0MP camera or 8GB flash memory.
This image for this phone is fan made using photoshop
Anonymous, 27 Feb 2010Dear HTC I would buy this phone anytime if it comes with: GPS, COMPASS, SNAPDRAGON 1GHz or... moreGo for Acer Liquid It is a good phone and i think it will match your requirement
it's a good phone but saying putting a 1ghz processor on there so it can be upgraded to win7 won't help. the HD2 has great specs and it's still a big ? whether it will get upgraded. This a good phone with probably a little more specs but other than that it's good to go
i don't know but I think HTC should consider 1G Processor for this device according to GSMarena.com that one of the main requirement to upgrade to Win 7 is the processor, I think HTC should consider that
Come on!! Forget about resistive touchscreen!! Go capacitive with multitouch! Who in the world needs resistive touchscreen for handwriting recognition when there's a KEYPAD for crying out loud! Come on HTC, dont screw up on this perfect phone with a resistive screen. Iphone's leading just because of its capacitive screen, if anyone wants resistive, might as well get a Nokia since their whole range of phones are resistive. I rest my case...please.
I would buy this phone anytime if it comes with:
GPS, COMPASS, SNAPDRAGON 1GHz or more powerful processor, Optical trackpad instead of trackball (like the one on the HTC Bravo), multitouch supported on OS-level not just browser, 1400~1500mAH, WIFI,BLUETOOTH,5MP minimum camera, secondary camera. Pretty much a E72 killer I would call it, if not at least the in same class. Make sure the dimensions are the same as rumoured here, design of the shell to follow HTC HD2, looks quite professional.Big screen. One more thing, the numbers should be conveniently placed in the middle of the keypads for both left & right handers. cheers!
Between a snapdragon 1Ghz and the processor that this device will have, the qualcomm 600mhz, which one will be better?
Also does it come with compass and GPS?
This is nothing but a full-time rumor. i searched everywhere possible in Bangladesh. However, a similar phone called symphony X100 does exist, with a price tag of Tk. 35,000 (USD 500/EURO 350) A similar dummy also exists at only 4500 Tk. (Euro 45)
I think this cell phone will be very good. Because it has a qwetry keyboard and is touchscreen.
ssouna, 19 Feb 2010this phone will grow alot when it will be released because it has alot of nice specs, big scr... moreits called track ball and its not hot at all... attract dirt then jam them stop fonctionning
this phone will grow alot when it will be released
because it has alot of nice specs, big screen, full keyboard, ball mouse(i dont know what its called) and everything needed
seems to be nice
i know that's nothing official yet but i think HTC will release this phone with Win 6.5.3 not 6.5 otherwise will be little bit behind,
but overall it's good phone i like the design the screen size is great beside it's touch BUT i hope the keyboard is not like snap
It is relly there because there is nothing in htc site?
If it relly when it would be release ?
To those saying this device has no office editor, where in this world will you see a winmo device without office editor?
newbie, 08 Feb 2010why this phone still use windows 6.5 ??
i think in Q2 many smartphone will use windows 7 for ... moreWindows mobile 6.5 is the state of the art, winmo 7 is not out yet.. plus to debate your suggestion to have winmo 7 on a cell phone now, as it does NOT support multitasking... its basically still in it's raw stages, anyhow its only been a few months since version 6.5 has been out...
be patient... or atleast be in the know...
