                                      @ searcy:

I personally believe the best way to use this device as a phone is with the LG Style I. Its a bluetooth 'handset' very small pen-like device. It has numbers to dial with, caller ID, volume controls, and I think voice dialing. Its pretty useless with any other phone, but ideal for use with the advantage. You can find them on ebay for like $10, $5 shipping. They have black and silver. The silvet one is branded "Verizon Wireless", but don't worry it works fine with the advantage, which is GSM network. Check them out, its a great alternative to wired or bluetooth headsets.

It has it's flaws, ie no vibrate & only hands free or earpiece talking (it's not a mobile phone in that respect) but as an in car PDA/GPS/Phone/planner/video player (to keep the kids happy) it's unbeatable - I've had mine for a few months & it's faultless, I'm getting an Iphone just becasue it's not the sort of thing you want to take out with you by itself.
