yep, HTC Desire has only 147mb internal storage space. Don't be fooled like me by 512 ROM. ROM- Read ONLY Memory. This means that you won't be using that memory.

Link4u, 15 Dec 2010Yes that is right, the desire is better (faster, smoother) because the DHD uses the same 1ghz ... moreHTC Desire is pretty much the clone of Nexus One, except that Desire has a bit more RAM and little to none internal memory (needs SD card).
The Desire HD uses the next generation Snapdragon processor. GSMArena got the specs incorrect for DHD. It uses the MSM 1ghz processor and the Desire Z uses MSM 800mhz. Both have the newer integrated Adreno GPU.
Plus, Desire HD has more internal memory to store apps. Despite having a SLCD screen, I would choose DHD.
But for now, i'll stick with Desire for another year or two.

me, 14 Dec 2010App to sd is not possible without root...Google it...App 2 SD is available for free on the android market plus you don't need to root your phone but some apps can't be moved to SD card
Excellent set in every aspect. Only issues;
- Poor battery life
- No settings for music
- No documents editing

Battery life is good lasts more than one day for me, and internal memory is not a problem anymore with froyo update.

KJC, 12 Dec 2010Anyone, please answer me... Do you think it is already outdated to purchase this phone? since... moreDoesn’t mean it is bad; if it is old or came to market long back ago. Make a comparison in the market – it is still far better then so many new devices. I myself bought it this weekend to replace my previous phone as I was very much impressed by its performances and functionality.
I have 4 question:
1- Is there any app to make the notifications light flash for ever not stop after 5 or 10 minutes?
2- Does the bluetooth stop being discoverd after 120 seconds?
3- Where can I buy a white one?
4- Finally, is it too late to buy this great but not elegant phone?
