However, not as if the few grams extra will make your hand tired. In pocket, nope. I can't tell any difference. I only had a dummy SGS in my pocket once, so my impression of its ergonomic issue isn't really clear. I only remember that it can't go entirely into my jeans. A small part of it is still out of my pocket. Whereas for Desire, it hasn't give me any irritation thus far.

I do have another question, do you actually feel the weight difference between the 2 phones when you keep each of them in the pocket? Does the HTC feel 'much' heavier than the Galaxy S (again, in the pocket)?
this phone is amazing in all respect but the main problem is lying with the battery life.its really not up to the mark. I have been using this phone immediately it came to the market but still i failed to transfer any phone number to anybody through using business card though the provision is there. Can anybody come forward to tell me the process as such i shall be grateful.

That's why I say so. Anyway, it is not very fair to compare desire's 2.2 to sgs's 2.1. Sgs is getting the update soon anyway.

Ok black is really black on Galaxy S, and colours more "colourful" than in real life, but I do not know if that really is the same as saying the screen on Galaxy S "is better", is fake better as long as it looks better?

For me, I'm love taking casual photos with friends. Flash light is especially important in this case. In situations whereby you are having dinner in some dark restaurant, flash light comes in handy.
Next, price is another issue. Desire can do almost everything that Galaxy can do, but at a much lower price. What Galaxy has over Desire are just some novelties, and not really that important and useful in my opinion.
Desire is much more pocketable and easy to use in one hand. Desire fits nicely in my hand, but Galaxy S is a tit too big for me.
However, Galaxy sure outdo Desire in terms of screen. Galaxy S has got the best screen. Galaxy S beats Desire hands down in this aspect. Galaxy S also has a better graphic. This is exceptionally useful in 3D gaming. However, if you are not using the phone for much gaming, it's just a good-to-have thing.
Galaxy also have a much better battery life than Desire.
Hope this helps.
TMR, 07 Sep 2010Ok, iPhone4 or Desire guys...? I want a phone to take to the gym and be able to shuffle my ... moreDefinitely Desire. Their hardwares are on par, so it's between the OS. Sense UI is a much more flexible and user-friendly interface than iPhone's UI. Then let's look at their OS. Sure, iOS has got a powerful app store, but the potential of Android is much stronger. You can do more with Android.
Could someone who has used the HTC Desire as well as the Galaxy S, please give me a suggestion between the 2? (preferrably without bias :P )
I've gone through multiple reviews online, which has done all but help me decide :)
how do i leave a msg on my voice mail when unavailable to take the call really struggling.
Ok, iPhone4 or Desire guys...?
I want a phone to take to the gym and be able to shuffle my playlist each time I go there & not have the same playlist each time etc....Make sense, I hope so! Is the iPhone4's "Antenna" issue just hype or is it true that it will not work...? Please advise as I'm ready to upgrade. Thanks
