Doing what? On standby? Playing a movie? What were you doing on both phones, and how many other services were on? (GPS, Wi-Fi, etc.)

For very intensive usage, it can handle all the tasks you need, but you need to accept that you will have to charge it daily.
Stability is very good. The RAM management follows Android logic and is quite fine. The internal memory is good for about 80-100 apps, which is extended with the new firmware (allowing to move some apps to SD card).

I am using HD2 since January'10 but thinking for Desire, due to hardware issue I'm to get a free replacement either HD2 or Desire [if I want].
Never used Android before so a bit confused, will be using this phone for work and social; intensive & all-time connected to GPRS/EDGE [no 3G in India], multiple mail a/c, exchange server, outlook syncing, browsing, applications, online payments and booking, Social networking, Office editing mainly Excel. How is hte battery life as compared to HD2 and stability, / handling RAM and on board user memory?
