bubble_pad, 10 Jul 2010Does anyone knows whether this phone can do multitasking like when i'm using one program i can... moreYeah man it has multitask. You can swap between the 6 most recently used apps. When you go from one app to another it just freezes the background one, so that when you go back to it itll be exactly the same as you left it.
To do this, hold the home key :)

Hello friends, htc desire is a great phone but it,s battery life is fair not excellent.
Most of the specs are good, but I can't believe that the video recording isn't hd. Lol, but that doesn't matter.
It's a good phone, but I just hate the design, well, I hate most of the HTC phone designs tbh. But that's just my preference, I'm going to get the Samsung Galaxy S. I was already going to get it though.

Waiting makes little sense, because there always will be better phones coming in the future. So, you may end up waiting for the best phone in the next 10 years...

Have had this phone for 2 months now and have not had any issues with it at all. Use to have the iPhone 3Gs and this is sooo much better in my opinion!

I have both, HTC desire and Samsung Galaxy, and I'm very disappointed with samsung, very very laggy.

Bought a Desire yesterday after owning a Windoze for several years. I have some adjusting to do, but the Desire seems OK at this stage. I've set it up for synching with the laptop. Default sync is only calendar and contacts, and now I find I can't copy my MS Outlook email folders across and synch those too (as I did with MS Active Sync). Does anyone know of a 3rd party application that will allow me to sync my email folders with the laptop - without going online?
